Congratulations on the engagement of this beautiful couple, Josh and Kayla! They fell in love in high school five year ago and now they are preparing to tie the knot. They are both so sweet and very perfect for each other!
This fun little spring session took place at the Metzger Park in Louisville, OH. Despite this park not being that photogenic, this cute little spot in the woods is gorgeous! And what better family to show it off! Rich and Janelle were celebrating little Hannah’s second birthday. So they decided to have a mini session to commemorate it. The Hart family is so cute and pretty special because big sister Heidi was one of my first newborn sessions. It is so fun to watch a family grow up in front of my camera.
I am so exited to share this session of the beautiful Slesnick twins, Rachel and Isabel. I was amazed by how sweet and polite these girls are. They definitely take after their parents Edward and Elizabeth. They whole family is very special.
This session was a prerequisite to the girls’ Bat Miztvah that I photographed a few weeks ago (expect to see that event on the blog soon!) It was so nice to be able to work with them prior to the event and also for them to have portraits for display and announcements.
So without further ado, here are the beautiful young ladies:
It is a good thing violets are edible. Charlotte decided to taste a few.
Charlotte and Mema Hughes in their beautiful garden in Avon, IL. I was so glad we were able to be there when it was in full bloom. My father-in-law is an amazing gardener!
We had a few stump removals done this week. And since Daddy had to work we decided to take on the clean up. Notice how even though I’m the one doing the hard work Liam had to wear my pink gardening gloves. 😉
Adam my husband actually took this picture of a moth we had found. But it isn’t as pretty as it looks. At one point it projected an unidentifiable fluid which nearly hit Adam in the face!
Charlotte is helping Mema make dinner.
I cannot believe how big Charlotte is getting. I didn’t realize it until she started wearing her summer clothes. Such long arms and legs!
We couldn’t find the other brush so we had to “take turns” washing the car. Don’t mind the mismatched play clothes. He very independently chose to dress himself that day. The shorts are actually pajamas.
“I see you Mommy! You can’t sneak a picture of me while I’m napping.”
What we see as a menace, Liam sees as a beautiful yard to pick flowers. I have received many bouquets.
We called the Beech Creek Botanical Garden in Alliance to see if their nature center was open yet. They made a special allowance for us to come and play. We had the whole place to ourselves.
This is my late night television watching buddy. Some nights she just wants to hang out with Mommy a little longer.
This is Liam’s first fish of the year! Mommy and Liam actually caught it, but Mommy doesn’t like touching smelly fish so Daddy helped us out. Kit that cat is patiently waiting for us to filet the fish so he can eat the left overs.
Charlotte is such a happy baby.
There are so many things to explore in the spring!
“Babyzilla” is helping her brother build/destroy his set up. I am always amazed by the creative designs Liam makes with his train set.
Liam having some fun times with Grandpa Griffith.
I sneaked up on these two as to not ruin this sweet moment. Liam is such a sweet older brother to Charlotte.
We took the four wheeler up to the corn field to find flowers and pick up corn for my parents pony Chip.
Charlotte loves having the tubby all to herself!
This was the first time mowing for the season. Liam was terrified and excited about the lawn mower all at the same time. As long as it wasn’t close to him he didn’t mind. He even decided to help out!
Charlotte can wave now! She is also very good at pulling herself up and walking along the furniture. I do believe this little girl will walk at ten months just like her brother.
