This fun-loving couple are Casey and Tyler. They have set their wedding date for November 2016.
Both being comic book fans we had to have part of their session at a comic book store. So we started out at Hazel’s Heroes Comic Book Store. The owner was so obliging to let us shoot wherever we wanted in his shop. So I want to give him a huge shout out and thank you for his kindness! And note how Tyler had personalized comic book made for the two of them! How adorably romantic!
Being that it was in the mid 90’s that day we waited until the very end of the day to finish out the rest of the session. Thankfully it cooled off a little. We ended at McKinley Monument. I’ve been shooting around McKinley Monument for seven years. I love how many different locations there are all over the park. And the actual monument always make for a beautiful finish.
Congrats to Casey and Tyler and I can’t wait to photographer their special day as well.
I’ve photographed Elijah several times over his first year so it was such a privilege to photograph his 1st birthday as well. Elijah’s session is the cutest I’ve ever photographed to date. His mother Debbie handmade each of these items pictured. I couldn’t believe what a wonderful job she did making and planning everything. The cake was make by my favorite baker Diane Blandford of Sweet Tooth Treats here in Louisville.
Elijah gave us quite a show during his cake smash (or should I say not cake smash). He refused to taste his cake. Debbie had to put puffs into the cake just so we could get one picture of him eating a little icing. He didn’t even want to get his little hands dirty either. The session ended in tears but it was very entertaining for us adults. Hopefully this was good practice for him so he will actually eat his first birthday cake at his party. 😉
Happy Birthday big boy!
This is Sara Loomis. She is a very beautiful and talented senior that I had to privilege of getting to know and photograph over that last few months. I say months because I had two sessions with Sara. She originally wanted photos at the Glamorgan Castle in Alliance, OH. Because of her busy basketball and track schedule we only had a few available dates. One of those was an early April morning when the temperature never went above 30! Needless to say we didn’t get very many good portraits between the shivers. So we waited a few weeks and rescheduled. We were blessed with a beautifully warm 75 degree evening at Sippo Lake where we finished her session.
Sara is a very amazing girl. She has dedicated herself to be the very best at basketball. And she also chose to run track so that she could stay in shape for basketball. All her hard work has paid off. She has received a full basketball scholarship to Ashland University. Her parents are so proud of her! I would also like to mention that I had so much pleasure photographing her. She is so incredibly sweet and beautiful! I think she could have an alternative career as a model.
Thank you Sara for allowing me to take your photos. I wish you the very best as you start this new adventure!
