I had the wonderful privilege of photographing Elizabeth and Mark Hilton’s wedding. They were married on September 24th at Jackson Friends Church. But I started my day at Mark’s house photographing the guys. They were running a little behind that day, as typical weddings go. Then, we headed to the church. It was so sweet to see how much love was showered on Elizabeth from her family as she was preparing for the wedding and throughout the day. Family seemed to be such a huge part of their lives. It was especially fun to see family members from Armenia who came to attend the wedding. Some hadn’t been here in twenty years! The wedding went smoothly except for the adorably dramatic show from the ring bear. Their reception was at The Walsh Barrett Center. The campus was gorgeous and provided so much photographic opportunity. And then it was off to party! And this family sure can party! Literately everyone was on the dance floor. Including one relative in her 90’s having the time of her life. It was the cutest thing. And the reception really picked up when Elizabeth’s father came out and played with his Armenian band. I was having so much fun I was sad to leave! Mark and Elizabeth have such a wonderful life ahead of them. You can see how much love they share. I wish them the very best! And I want to thank them once again for choosing me to be a part of their big day!
I’ve photographed Elijah several times over his first year so it was such a privilege to photograph his 1st birthday as well. Elijah’s session is the cutest I’ve ever photographed to date. His mother Debbie handmade each of these items pictured. I couldn’t believe what a wonderful job she did making and planning everything. The cake was make by my favorite baker Diane Blandford of Sweet Tooth Treats here in Louisville.
Elijah gave us quite a show during his cake smash (or should I say not cake smash). He refused to taste his cake. Debbie had to put puffs into the cake just so we could get one picture of him eating a little icing. He didn’t even want to get his little hands dirty either. The session ended in tears but it was very entertaining for us adults. Hopefully this was good practice for him so he will actually eat his first birthday cake at his party. 😉
Happy Birthday big boy!
This brand new little lady is Lily. She is welcomed by adoring parents Lydia and Anthony. I have know Lily’s mommy for a very long time and this little girl is going to grow up with so much love and support. She is a very lucky lady to have parents like these two. Congrats to them and the whole family!
These incredibly sweet people are the LaForest and Wheeler families. More than half of this family traveled from Michigan to make this family session. We met at the F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm in Akron, OH. This was my first time shooting at this location. It was gorgeous! There are gardens, hiking trails and a nature center. I would like to go back with my family and visit.
We met early in the morning and were afraid that we were going to get rained out. But thankfully we got lucky! I was so impressed by all of these kiddos. Although they were typical energetic toddlers, they listened very well. Photographing five children age three and under together could prove to be challenging. But despite the fact that I got a good workout that morning, they were fantastic. It was such a pleasure getting to meet and work with this family!
This nice young man is David. He is a high school graduate and has recently enlisted in the United States Navy. He the youngest five children. I photographed two of his siblings’ senior photos as well. It is always a pleasure working with this family.
Congratulations on the engagement of this beautiful couple, Josh and Kayla! They fell in love in high school five year ago and now they are preparing to tie the knot. They are both so sweet and very perfect for each other!
It was such a pleasure to work with this beautiful little family, Tiffanie and Noah. They are both so sweet! Noah, who was quite the little charmer, is turning five. It was such a fun session. I was excited about this new location at Cuyhoga Falls as well. It was perfect!
This little lady is Lily. She is almost three years old now! We took her 2nd birthday pictures last year. She was a little timid and unsure of the camera then. But this year she was so brave and did such a good job. It is so much fun watching little ones grow up in front of my camera. As a little side note, she has the sweetest parents anyone could ask for. Lily is a very lucky little girl.
This sweet family are our very special friends. We met when they won a photo session from me three years ago at a raffle. Since then they have been loyal clients and friends. Our sons are best buddies and have a shared mutual obsession for all things Thomas the Tank Engine.
This was my second time photographing this little guy. And he held the record for being one of the easiest kiddo’s I’ve ever worked with. Well, this second time was exactly the same except for the fact he was quite a bit more mobile. Callen is such a sweetheart and quite the handsome little man.
