These adorable soon-to-be parents are Louisa and Andrew Hodgson. Their first child, a daughter, is due on Louisa’s birthday October 4th. This little girl is very lucky to have such wonderful and kind parents. Louisa is a nurse and Andrew is an IT consultant currently commuting to New York City. Louisa is my older sister and this little girl will be my first niece on my side of the family. This being said, we are all very anxious to meet her.
Allow me to introduce this cute couple John and Alli Kelly; along with their hairy son Roscoe. John and Alli were married four years ago in Hawaii where John was stationed in the Army. Alli is actually my cousin on my dad’s side of the family. And since I wasn’t able to give them a wedding present, I offered four years ago that when they visit Ohio I would gift them a session. Well, that time has come! They were so lucky to have this beautiful Ohio morning. March weather is very unpredictable. It was so much fun photographing a couple who are married and were comfortable in front of the camera. It was also nice that I was able to give them these portraits which commemorate such a fun time in their newly wed life!
Charlotte loves making noise! Liam was also enjoying this moment with us until he realized that I had my camera remote in my hand. So of course he had to take the picture.
I really enjoy my work space in our great room. I wish I didn’t have to spend as much time as I do on the computer, but it’s nice to be with the family while I work.
I bought Liam a brand new stash of craft supplies this week. So of course we had to make Valentines! We sure enjoy Daddy being home more now that he is working the night shift.
Nearly every Sunday we make a trip to see my parents and younger bother and sister. Throughout the week Liam is always asking if it’s the day we are going to see “Gampa and Uncle Isaac.” I love that he enjoys playing outside there. It bring back so many memories of my childhood.
This little lady is my daughter Charlotte Quinn! This big girl just learned how to sit up, just in time for her six month session. She can also squeal, growl and is very vocal! Her favorite thing to do is to watch her brother while she jumps in her bouncer. Her newest favorites are mashed bananas and sweet potatoes. Charlotte is such a precious girl and is so sweet and content. She is such a blessing to our family!
For her session I decided to splurge a little. I want to offer more simple studio sets that focus more on the subjects. The romper and headband are props that are available for use. But the pearls are her mama’s. They were a gift from my grandmother on my 21st birthday and will someday be passed on to her. She is just trying them out for size.
